Olympic Clay Target Disciplines, ‘Have a Go’ days!!

Courtlough Shooting Grounds, supported by the ICPSA High Performance Programme, are pleased to announce 2 dates where shooters can try out the ISSF disciplines. This is a great opportunity to have a try under the controlled supervision and coaching from ICPSA Performance Director, Jeff McCready who is licensed by the ISSF to coach at international level.

ISSF disciplines are an exciting option for existing shooters looking for a new challenge. Those who currently shoot DTL/ABT and are looking to take their shooting to a higher level will find Olympic and Double Trap interesting. For those who shoot Sporting, there is well established precedent of doing well in Double Trap. Olympic Gold medallist Richard Faulds is an excellent example.

The days are open to everyone, ICPSA members and non-members alike. The only requirement is you are a licensed firearm holder, you provide your own gun and ammunition (24-28gr).

The cost is €15 per person, for 50 targets. Those wishing to purchase additional targets can do so at €7.50 per line.

The outline of the day will be as follows:-

10am assembly at Courtlough, Country cafe

10.15 short introduction to ISSF disciplines by Jeff McCready

11am – 2.30pm shooting

Dates :

  • Olympic Trap, Sun 2nd November 2014
  • Olympic Double Trap, Sun 9th November 2014

Come along and Have a Go!!!
